Scholarships
Scholarships are a form of financial aid. A scholarship can be awarded for need or merit such as academic or athletic. Scholarships can be a combination of financial aid packages. They do not have a requirement to be repaid, however they typically have a very specific list of criteria for eligibility that must be maintained while still a student. These can include grade point average, field of study and much more.
Scholarships can come directly from the school or from other entities such as foundations, corporations and other types of organizations.
Most forms of financial aid will not cover all of the costs of education, so consider applying for a scholarship.
